About The Conference

Nanoscience & Nanotechnology are a fast developing fields of research. Research in these areas is of a multidisciplinary nature that has a tremendous potential to create new materials and devices with a wide range of applications. It is foreseen that nanotechnology will contribute towards building a society with accessible clean energy, clean water, new industries, improved health care and  a high quality of life in general. The market opportunity of this field is substantial. Science and Engineering at the Nanoscale will have a dramatic impact on fields such as computing, electronics, telecommunications, energy, environment and medicine. The current global market for nanotechnology is worth billions of dollars and is expected to increase rapidly in the near future. Many Industrial  and government leaders describe nanotechnology as “the next Industrial Revolution", yet the environmental and health impacts remain lesser known. Therefore, there is a great need to assess and study the implications of nanotechnology and its implementation.

As globalization leads to increasing interaction among regions and peoples of the world, it is important to encourage multi-disciplinarity in emerging scientific fields such as nanoscience and nanotechnology.

The aim of the International Conference is to bring together scientists, technologists and researchers from all over the world to present their valuable papers on the made in these fields to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This conference will also provide a golden opportunity to develop new collaborations and meet world experts. Students, Scientists and Engineers from academia, Research laboratories and the industry working in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology will get a platform to discuss new and exciting advances in the field. ICNSNT 2011 will cover nanostructure growth, synthesis, fabrication, characterization, device design, modeling, testing and applications.
